Palmer Barn
This barn, with walls held together by handmade pegs, was moved to Henkel Square from the Oldenberg, Texas area. The owners stored hay in the loft and used the small, outside room as a corncrib. A large room inside served as a port for wagons and buggies.

Two buggies are on display inside the barn. One is the old mail buggy used for many years in Round Top. There is also an extensive display of old tools on permanent exhibit.

The barn is now used for community and private gatherings, ballet classes and dances.
